Repairs & Outfitting

We offer repair and service on most kayaks and paddleboards, including plastic welding, skeg and rudder repair, small fiberglass/gelcoat cracks, and more. We also offer fishfinder installation and LED lighting and other rigging for kayak fishing. 

The Kayak Centre is proud to be an Authorized Hobie Repair and Service center. We stock parts to service Hobie Mirage Drives and kayaks. As the former distributor, we are North America's most extensive Valley Sea Kayak parts dealer.

We carry mounts and accessories from YakAttack, YakPower, YakGear, Railblaza, Ram, and Hobie, along with batteries from Nocqua and Dakota Lithium. We can also special order fishfinders from Lowrance and Humminbird.

Our hourly labor rate is $90*. While we are happy to give you a rough estimate for repair costs, it is impossible to predict the full extent of what a repair might entail. Please note: All kayaks and paddleboards MUST BE CLEAN when dropped off for repairs or installs. This means, no bait, fish parts, moth balls or any other gross stuff you keep in your boat! Please rinse your boat before drop off (slightly damp boats are fine, boats full of water are not). Boats and boards that are dropped off dirty will be charged a $50 cleaning fee. We reserve the right to refuse repair/install service for boats at the time of drop-off if boats are dirty.
