Kayak Navigation 2 - On Water

This fun half-day class is about applying the principles of navigation learned in the classroom to real situations on the water. You’ll plot a course on land and then follow that course on the water to see how accurate your calculations turned out. We will also take some bearings while on the water and show you how to find your location using a compass and a nautical chart. Applying all these new skills, we’ll have you adjust your planned course on the fly and learn some techniques to make it easier. *Navigation I or equivalent experience recommended.
