Quick Start
SUP is a fun way to explore our waterways, improve your balance and get a fantastic core body workout. Anyone can Stand-Up Paddle!
Our specialty is teaching people with no surfing or paddling experience at all. The only prerequisite is that you are comfortable in the water, and want to try something new!
Our two hour intro session will take place in the calm waters in the Wickford Harbor. We will cover all the basics; getting familiar with equipment, water entry and balance, proper stance and positioning on the board, efficient paddling technique, and safety and etiquette.

Looking to try something new? Are you interested in strengthening your core and having some fun at the same time? The Kayak Centre will be hosting 6 demos to the increasingly popular sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP). Join us Thursday evenings in July and August and learn about this new sport and even give it a try!
