Paddler's Smart Start

Join a member of the Kayak Centre team for this short but informative classroom style introduction to the basics that every paddler should know before embarking out in a kayak.

We'll cover what to wear, float plans, and equipment choices as well as decision making processes for trip organization and preparedness. This class follows the American Canoe Association (ACA) Smart Start outline and also includes Kayak Centre advice on clothing and equipment.
